I thought that too. Just finished watching the series last night after not wanting it to end. Martin Freeman brilliant as always but I was wondering what the real scousers here thought about his accent. Seemed pretty accurate to me, but I'm a Londoner.

Just started on in from the cold on Netflix.
Don't know how to take it. Started off like some run of the mill spy thing, then took a really weird detour.
Might turn out rubbish, but gonna give it a few episodes and see where it goes.

The accents have split opinions mate.

4 episodes into archive 81. Absolutely loving it.

Don’t ask me what it’s about as I haven’t got a clue but it’s addictive.

Plowed through all four seasons of Yellowstone the last week or so, and I'm genuinely sad there's no more episodes to watch. What a show.

Finished The Expanse last night, and what a ride its been. The show has come a long way from an intriguing detective story in the first few episodes to an all-out space epic by the end but kept the themes of humanity's need to continually oppress itself no matter how far we advance and that redemption is always achievable but never an easy path.

Best sci-fi series since Battlestar. Complex, grounded, with proper flawed and often tragic characters, a commitment to diversity that never feels trite or tagged on, great effects and a crafted world of cultures, language, rivalries and alliances.
Light years ahead of the pack.

I tried to get into this...binged watched about 3 seasons.

The lead characters just grated on me...plus the main female actor was just so so so bad and the lead male seems to have barely any expressions.

Nice idea but...

The Cleaning Lady: 2 episodes in and quite fun and promising...i like the Filipino/Cambodian backstory as well.

All of us are dead: Fun, brutal zombie series which left me scratching my heads at the stupidity of people in parts.

Ooooff it was a big episode of Euphoria last night. The cinematography is just incredible, all recorded on film too.

Manifest on Netflix. Binge watched 6 episodes whilst the missus was out and can't decide whether to persevere or not. There's an interesting story in there somewhere but it's slow getting anywhere.
