TV Series

Few years since I’ve seen it, but the thing that stood out to me as being incorrect was that the German youngsters were still Seeing their Jewish friends in about 1941/42? In reality, the Jews would have been persona non grata at this time
Yeah that confused me a little as well, even as someone who doesn’t have an extensive knowledge of WW2.

The Jimmy Savile documentary on Netflix a real eye opener. I never realised the extent to which he had the likes of Royalty and politicians wrapped around his little finger.
I'm still not convinced that those close to him over the years, claim that they never suspected his sordid activities. For those that did suspect and kept quiet, words fail me.
Selina Scott still looking good BTW.

Yellow Jackets

About a female high school footy team about to compete in the nationals and whilst travelling to the tournament, their plane crashes into the wilderness and they are left to survive for 18 months by themselves.

Its cringe, its weird, its a rabbit hole of a tv series, more questions than answers, but i can't stop watching.

Janet Street Porter, stated, that when she was a junior at the BBC, no one had the faintest idea what was going on with Saville, not even a whiff.

By the sounds of it, he was that powerful, those that knew or where his victims, where that scared to speak out, that they remained silent.

Even Louis Theroux says one the biggest things he always looks back on with real sadness, is why didn‘t pick up on anything when he did the documentary with him.

I enjoyed this to begin with but it’s gone a bit too far now. Some bits are good but some messy. Christina Ricci’s character doesn’t really fit in.
Shame cos it’s a good idea

I know what you mean.

I've only watched 7 episodes and episodes 6 and 7 i could sense the writers were getting too carried away. First few episodes were very good and i loved the direction it was going.

........ but i've started now and need to finish it LOL

Same. Will finish this. They have a lot to fit before the end so guessing they must have another series lined up which I doubt I’ll bother with.
Looking forward to Severance next though
