TV Series

Sherwood. Enjoying every second of it. Brilliant cast each playing their roles perfectly. The story itself keeping you on your toes. Lots of sub-plots to keep your interest.

It's a good yarn alright, but the painting of striking miners as the flip side of filthy scabs is pathetic.

In that respect it reminds me of that phoney get Jimmy McGovern's drama about the Liverpool dock worker's strike a few years back.

Me too Joey.

It was like a daytime telly drama.

How on earth that cast, put their names to it is beyond me.
Stopped watching it, struggle to get into anything with James Nesbitt in! Never see his character only ever see James Nesbitt if get what I mean - as for those eyebrows!
BTW the girl (Antonia Thomas) who played Maia also played Claire in the American hospital series The Good Doctor!

Disney have worked their magic again. The Kenobi series was almost entirely dreadful from start to finish. Just wretched. The dialogue, the story, everything. It feels like it written by an edgy teenager. There's actual fan made pieces up on YouTube that are vastly superior to this abomination.

Reva wants revenge against Anakin because he killed the other younglings and stabbed her, which firstly, she should've died from. Regardless, she goes about her revenge by killing innocent people herself (contradicting right) and then gets stabbed again only to survive again. You're supposed to root for her despite the fact that she's an objectively terrible person that is also dumb AF. The character is just so terribly thought out and badly written, at this point every criticism that fans direct at the character, as well as the writers, is 100% valid.

Just how dumb is Kenobi for not just killing Anakin in this? Its why they should never of come face to face between episode 3 and 4. They've undermined their own story so much. Its just so stupid. I know that we're best not overtaking Star Wars but come on ffs. This is just common sense.

In fairness it has to be said that there is a few really cool little moments over the course of the six episodes that where fun (especially the Qui-Gon cameo at the end) but because the rest is just so bad they fall flat and only serve as a reminder of what could've been if the show had been written by someone halfway competent.

I can't say that I didn't see it coming. Its my own fault that I'm disappointed. I allowed myself to believe that they couldn't possibly screw up something so dam simple. I was an idiot and should've known better. Avoid at all costs would by my suggestion to anyone thinking of watching.

I absolutely disagree with everything you say here. But its healthy to have different opinions from one another (except regarding Everton :D)

I'm glad you enjoyed it mate, I knew loads of people would. I stand by everything I said about it but hay, art and entertainment is entirely subjective.;)

I enjoyed most of it. It had some absolutely terrible moments, but overall I got it. Yeah I'm a massive Star Wars fan and probably a little biased, but I don't care - it was a MASSIVE part of my childhood (early 80's GREAT Star Wars movies and Everton were BOSS!) and now I have two young sons to enjoy all the new stuff. You try telling my boys that anything Star Wars is crap and they will beat you with a stick. LOL
