TV Series

Yes. Andor. More for the Star wars nerds then yourself.
Kind of a play on your point about the omnipresence of marvel and a theme of andor being that even if you try to ignore and avoid such evil it won't ignore you.
No idea what Andor is so it must have me on ignore? Do you think I could watch it without any knowledge of any of the films or any other of the series?

Andor is easily the best live action thing to come from Star Wars since the orignal trilogy by a massive margin.

I honestly can't say enough good things about it. Its amazing. If it wasn't for the lack of aliens (which is a basic staple of the franchise and I'll never understand the lack of them in this) it would be absolutely perfect.

They're all aliens mate. None of them are born on Earth.

You know what I meant mate.

True, this guy from Burnley.

"I've made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts"

That's a line in this weeks episode of "Andor"

The absolute best Star Wars show there is, and it will never be bettered in my opinion.

Stunning.
Thought the first three episodes could easily of been done in two. However the last 4/5 episodes are some of the strongest TV let alone sci-fi episodes in years.
The difference in quality compared to Amazon's €1bn Rings of power should have Bezos asking lots of questions and looking for receipts.

TBF this latest episode was the first one to leave me a bit underwhelmed - it was still eminently watchable, but quite a way below the expectations the rest of the show created for it.

that applies to Disney too - this is vastly superior to Obi-Wan and Boba Fett, and personally I think its better than the Mandalorian as well
