TV Series

I just can't take anything with Charlie Hunnam in seriously. Not even a terrible actor per se he's just bloody awful at accents.
Probably the worst character and actor in it to be honest...which is an issue. Especially for a series that 'starred' Marilyn Manson in a few episodes.

Still chock full of some great character actors though. Walter Goggins as an incredibly busty transgender woman was a surprise. And Donal Logue dancing round in the nip.

Watching this… not perfect but it’s a insight to a character I remember without knowing to much aboht

Episode 6 makes two references to Everton cult heroes.

Steven being the danger man for Rangers playing Marseille

And just before a must-win game against Brugges, Tappie asks why Amokachi the Nigerian protege isn't playing for the Marseille. They explain he has a shot knee. Tappie then phones his agent and suggests that Amo could join Marseille if they win the Champions League. A nod and a wink at match tampering. Looked up the game stats and noticed that Amokachi only managed play the first half of that game.

The game after that they really honed in on a match fixing.

I understand SFU is coming to Netflix in the near future

I see it has in the US, and I hope so as I probably watched it when i was too young (even though I really liked it). But as far as I am aware, Sky/Now has the rights to HBO shows. But I guess they might be selling a few off as it's odd for the US netflix to get some HBO shows
