TV Series

Bingeing Your Honor on Paramount+ via Sky. Just got to season 2.

Missed season 1 earlier this year on Sky Atlantic. Brian Cranston from Breaking Bad is the lead.

New Orleans gangland stuff with loads of Breaking Bad / Fargo type situations, twists and unintended consequences.

Fair to say, I’m hooked.

It's brilliant, but I keep expecting heisenburg to turn up

Binge watching Ashes to Ashes again, great fun and loved watching Keeley Hawes in 80"'s fashions. Almost at the end now when they all seeing stars.

Only my opinion, but I thought it lost something when they replaced John Simms for the second series.

As much as the chemistry between her and Phil Glenister was really good, she just felt a bit lightweight compared to the role that John Simms had played.

I thought the ending was one of the best ending ever for a tv series.

I can see your point, although Ashes to Ahes my fave out the two, agree about tge ending, a proper The Sixth Sence moment. They were going to do a new series last year but it fell through.

Blue Eye Samurai… 10/10.

IMO best animated series on Netflix since Arcane….
Not one I’m going to let me 13 year old watch .. but might hint he should watch it without my knowing and skip the strong adult content ..

Agreed, it's a 10/10 for me as well.

Stunning visuals, a really engaging story and just very unique. Fiction is at its best when it takes itself seriously, this was a real tonic to the quip-laden, self-aware Marvel/Star Wars drivel that Disney churns out.

I'd love to see a 90's series just for the nostalgia. Technology really started to move on then too with mobile phones, emails, etc. and I'm sure there are storylines with the old-timers struggling to move with the times.
