TV Series





I got about half-way through the first book before binning it off. It got far to esoteric and weird, with the characters having pages of conversations about chaos theory and theoretical physics.

No idea how they are gonna make this work as a series unless they do some heavy creative changes.

Was reading about this today and a Chinese series based on the same book series is about to come out and it is 30 episodes in one season. Would suggest there is a lot of stuff to get through. Not sure I have much faith in this Netflix adaptation

Netflix being Netflix probably gonna cancel it after 1st season.

Anyway i read that Chinese author who wrote it got background as engineer or something so original Chinese novel is quite dry and riddled with technical jargon. Translations in other languages made it much more readable.

Would recommend the books or maybe audio book, much went over my head in the physics which there is a lot...
