TV Series

Renault Super Sunday (Sky Sports)

I used to watch this a lot more when I was younger and it’s often hit n miss. That hasn’t changed, though it has this really annoying ‘We Buy Any Car’ segment that they seem to cram in as often as possible, with Micah Richards playing the clown as usual to a very irritating song. Really grating.

Have you watch any of Boy Swallows Universe on netflix yet @COYBL25 ? Got great reviews, might start it soon

Funnily enough I started it yesterday.

It’s very good so far, great cast, really well written and funny as anything. The boy in the lead is fantastic and is supported by established Aussie Actors.

It’s really quirky though, so I reckon it won’t be for everyone.

Just finished series 3 of Line of Duty which ended quite abruptly just when things were building to an interesting denouement. I like to see the baddies squirm a bit more than this.
It was absorbing over all though and I managed to keep up with what was going on most of the time, which isn't always the case.

This is my personal opinion but Season 4 is really bad. Such a waste of Thandiwe Newton. Season 5 is really good, Stephen Graham is great in it. Season 6 is unfortunately also rubbish.

Think they all ended weirdly. Amazing Build up of tension and pressure finally released in a wet fart.

Just started the Golden Hour after reviews on here - will bear Loudermilk in mind tho.
Loudermilk is solid. The first pilot is pretty poor but the concept centring around a former music critic addict turned of an alcoholic therapy group leader, kept me watching. The writing improved and characters kept giving. Some very funny scenes.
It’s a dark comedy where each season kept improving on the last.
Recommended.
