….C4, The Push (Murder on the Cliff). Just started watching this ‘On Demand’ documentary, the case of a newly married Muslim couple with the husband accused of pushing his wife off a cliff (Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh).

Very sad but worth a watch.

The good with the new True Detective series is that you're guaranteed a superlative performance from Foster, who is a virtuoso artist. The bad unfortunately is that like every reincarnation of the original series it suffers from a non-compelling story

I thought Foster was miscast in her role tbh.

She`s a mighty fan actor, but I thought this role was wrong for her, as she just wasn`t convincing ( imo )

I`d have gone for someone like Jeremy Renner / Patrick Wilson.

Cant stand Foster with her weird mannerisms.

I watched one & binned it - the story looked predictable & it's been done before ....

There`s a lot of false trails that are laid with the plot.

The last episode in particular is excellent, as everything comes together.

As others have said, no matter how many series they make and how good they are, they`ll always be compared to the first series, which will never be bettered.
