TV Series

Recent views:

Moon Knight (Disney+) - bit of a slog, bit formulaic. Feels like it was two or three episodes longer than it needed to be.

Hawkeye (Disney+) - excellent, particularly Pugh and Steinfeld. I love the character development for Hawkeye himself.

Andor (Disney+) - good, but not great. Pacing was weirdly inconsistent and some of the potholes / contrivances just suggested lazy writing.

The Mandalorian season 2 (Disney+) - nearly as bad as season 1. I simply don't understand why so many people love this show.

Ted Lasso (Apple TV) - binged the whole lot... Brilliant. Hilariously funny, particularly Roy Kent.

One Day (Netflix) - stunning. Beautiful, bittersweet, deeply moving. The two leads were perfectly cast, their chemistry was great, the plot was clever and the whole thing was incredibly relateable.

Bear with me Nymz.

Since taking control of all things Star Wars, Disney has churned out a lot of content, but the focus appears to be on quantity rather than quality. Andor is clearly an improvement in quality terms, but the technical side of things could have been better.

Not saying it was bad. Just saying there were some weak aspects to it that jarred all the more because other parts of it were very good.

It's one of the best sci-fi series ever made.
