TV Series

If you’re a fan of the walking dead and haven’t seen a show called Black Summer on Netflix give that a try. I think there’s 2 seasons and they aren’t making anymore. No idea why because it’s probably one of the best zombie shows I’ve ever seen.

Much grittier the TWD and pretty brutal in parts. Similar in that they start off and have no idea on how to navigate the world they’re put in but by the end they’re cold and very calculated
I have mate. Unfortunately there’s very few zombie shows that I haven’t watched at this point. Always looking for more/new ones.

Black Summer is actually in the same world as Z Nation as well despite the very different styles of show. I remember watching Black Summer and feeling it felt refreshing in terms of how good it actually was compared to others in the genre.

I had heard about it being in the same universe mate, I think I tried the 1st episode of it though and gave it a miss. I agree I feel like it’s one of the few takes on it that feels like how it might actually happen. Have you watched We are all dead (I think that’s what it’s called) on Netflix? It’s Korean and very Korean in how it goes about it, it’s like Train to Busan which I enjoyed.

I watched all of Z Nation. It’s appalling but at the same time, very easy watching and I have to admit, I did quite enjoy it.

And yes I have, really looking forward to the next series. Probably been one of my favourite series (I like fast zombies). Train to Busan is one that I haven’t actually watched as I’ve not seen it on any streaming services when I’ve looked (unless it’s with an additional cost).

Thanks for the heads up, watched the first 4 episodes it’s very good up to now

Ramsay is back on tv tonight, sadly it's the american version and so the language gets toned down quite a lot sadly. But it's still great

"little Haiti"

Well that's what I call timing!

Hardly get time for these threads. I watched the recent Sherwood missed the first series. I was gripped.

Ironically I saw another series with someone from Nottingham, (Vicy McClure), Trigger Point. Really good too.

I am behind my times.
