Been watching The Job Lot. Quite funny actually. That Angela is a wonderfully vile character. She'd go straight into the secret work enemies thread.

Looking back, Bread is a complete cop out but Liver Birds and Butterflies were genuine social comment ...

Just finished the second season of rings of power, an immense improvement on the first season which left me very disappointed but I gave the second season a chance and I'm glad I did.. I thought after the backlash the 1st received that Amazon might just have binned the whole project, kind of looking forward to a 3rd now.

Butterflies was okish - hated the Liver Birds the accents were awful ....as the plots .

Enjoyed the original recently and posted it up in the film thread. So let's take it from the top.

Redmayne looks buff, gym thread hess head buff.
The awful 90's remake with willis and gere should never have been a goer.
It'll be fun having the easily offended compare the black lass in this (and also the last James Bond?) to Michael Lonsdale's original detective.

Fun fact time but probably with less of the fun.
Edward Fox played the Jackal in the '73 original, it just so happens he's lawrence fox's uncle.

There's a ton of stuff needs remaking before diminishing the originals. Why have a go at this? Someone could have a right laugh remaking the absurdly awful 'event horizon' for instance, and put some genuine scares in it.
