TV Series

The Witcher Netflix is amazing

I dunno - managed to get through it and its okay, nowhere near as good as the World they can draw from. Id still watch S2 though as it might just take a different creative team to expand it properly. Needs better casting.

mr robot

best thing on tv ever

the end

I concur. Streets ahead of anything else.

Finally finished Watchmen and must say it was a really solid last episode. One of the best series I’ve seen in years.

Massively Underwhelmed. Why take the greatest source material ever and make it about Tulsa? No wonder Alan Moore wants nothing to do with it.

I want to recommend ‘On becoming a god in Central Florida’ Kirsten Dunst is sensational again.

I have private message you buddy.

Saw the witcher, very watchable series but B movie quality...

Cant quite understand the need
for the mages to use boats or walk around anywhere when they could teleport. Also Yenifer isnt exactly 'captivating' nor are some of the other mages who have gone through surgery to make them beautiful -- or have i missed the point?

Watchmen
im at the part where the old man in the wheelchair has been pulled into the air and the FBI agent is cracking unfunny jokes with the guy in the pod. Its a slog of a series so far

Ray Donovan
cant quite take it seriously with bunchy + Terry and bridgets husbands story arcs...they are all extremely boring. I think it woule be much better if we just saw ray getting involved in some nasty work or if he moved away from his family....the whole mickey storyline is just total nonsense as well. Going downhill fast

Just personally think it still fit within the Watchmen universe, linked quite nicely with the film in parts, strong cast, strong plot which I couldn’t guess whatsoever & hit some very prominent issues right now as well.

Watchmen is about Superheroes. It was a book that contemporised, satirised and deconstructed the Superhero comic genre.

I don't doubt the horror of Tulsa, but to lay the foundation of it there is completely misplaced to the actual material. It's not about White Supremacy at all. It takes Rorshach - the most complex and refreshing hero and misconstrues him completely. Its been bastardised by... just looking at this guy Lindelof and what a bunch of duds this guy is responsible for. Cowboys and Aliens? World War z? Tomorrowland!? What were they thinking!

*shrug* I enjoyed it.

Isn’t based on any existing graphic novel so not arsed as it doesn’t taint the original material for me.

Watchmen the film is about heroes (there’s only one superhero in reality so let’s not say the whole story is about them) and said film is based on the graphic novel for the mostt part.

The series is based on nothing at all so there’s no pressure for it to be based on heroes (although it still kinda is).
