Finally finished Watchmen and must say it was a really solid last episode. One of the best series I’ve seen in years.

Just finished it also. Very good. Hoping they leave it there as a stand alone series. Finally finished Watchmen and must say it was a really solid last episode. One of the best series I’ve seen in years.

Yeah had a quick google and doesn’t look like they will. Guess you could have someone create a totally different story using the same world.I don’t think they will; you can see how they might continue but I don’t think they’ll bother.
I got fed up of it in the end, could have been a lot betterTwo episodes into - the Witcher.
If you don’t like swords and sorcery fantasy stuff this ain’t for you.
If you do it’s very good.

I have private message you buddy.I dunno - managed to get through it and its okay, nowhere near as good as the World they can draw from. Id still watch S2 though as it might just take a different creative team to expand it properly. Needs better casting.
I concur. Streets ahead of anything else.
Massively Underwhelmed. Why take the greatest source material ever and make it about Tulsa? No wonder Alan Moore wants nothing to do with it.
I want to recommend ‘On becoming a god in Central Florida’ Kirsten Dunst is sensational again.

Just personally think it still fit within the Watchmen universe, linked quite nicely with the film in parts, strong cast, strong plot which I couldn’t guess whatsoever & hit some very prominent issues right now as well.
Watchmen is about Superheroes. It was a book that contemporised, satirised and deconstructed the Superhero comic genre.
I don't doubt the horror of Tulsa, but to lay the foundation of it there is completely misplaced to the actual material. It's not about White Supremacy at all. It takes Rorshach - the most complex and refreshing hero and misconstrues him completely. Its been bastardised by... just looking at this guy Lindelof and what a bunch of duds this guy is responsible for. Cowboys and Aliens? World War z? Tomorrowland!? What were they thinking!
