TV Series

I'm really close to not being able to live with this Triss actress to be completely honest with you.
It’s funny because to me Yennefer is just as poorly cast. She’s supposed to be fierce with a constantly mocking expression but she is too doe eyed and innocent looking for the part. And she has a block head lol

Don’t get me wrong she is gorgeous, but they were way too concerned with having a diverse cast. It’s one of the biggest qualms I had with the director. Get the people that fit the part

Back to mainstream tv, thoughts on Ray Donovan series so far?
Not too taxing again, you know what you're getting. I'm liking the Mickey storyline and that foxy minx that got her kit off for Ray.

Binged Witcher over the weekend.. I enjoyed it a heck of a lot! Brilliant fight scenes .. Henry is superb and nails the character perfectly... ticked every box..

It wasn’t perfect.. I agree with one of the comments before about Triss.. she was maybe my favourite female character in Witcher 3 the game.. and the Triss in the series is not her at all... get why they done it but she just pales in comparison... but it’s an adaption so no real issues..

But it got me totally invested in the 3 main protagonists.. so job done! It left me wanting more.. and felt very short... 9/10 !

6 episodes in to The Witcher. I'm enjoying it.. although people who know nothing about the books/games going into it are bound to get a bit lost at times.
The Witcher is really going to divide opinions.

I can`t see there being a middle ground with it, you`ll either love it or meh.
I'm 2 in and borderline, but I need to watch it without mrs degsy...who's he, what's she doing, why are they doing that...stfu and let me watch.

I got to five episodes and then binned it, pretty proud that I managed to sit through that much, one of my more impressive accomplishments in life. The acting is eldorado levels of bad at times.

Red Oaks on Amazon Prime. Based in a Summer Club for the privileged few in USA. Dunno why but I just want to know how it all ends.

Oh and don't be put off by the gratuitous nudity in the first episode. This does not continue...
