Watched The Witcher. On the whole found it pretty enjoyable but not amazing. Fight scenes were by and large very good and thought the leads all did a good job.

I haven't read the books or played the games though so a lot of it was a bit hard to keep track of. There seem to be quite a lot of big time jumps (I'm not talking about the different timelines here) with no sort of warning and as a result characters evolve insanely quickly. Maybe I've missed something.

Worth a try though if you like the genre.

I`m a massive fan of the original book, one of my all time favourites, but as someone else mentioned, you have to take into account that a lot of the viewers won`t have ever read the book, so it`s pitched at a really wide audience.

I`m enjoying it as I`ve just completely disregarded any comparisons with the original and I`m looking at it purely from an entertainment perspective.

I can see why you think it`s crap though !!!

Try The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel.

Bosch is another great series,

Marvelous Mrs Maisel is excellent and very well done. Acting is incredible. Pacing is great. It's like watching a well-acted play

Watched Catch 22 directed by George Clooney - a black sad war comedy about the USA B25 boanbers great characters, acting and a good watch 6 x 40 minute series worth a watch on catch up... based on a book and a film from years ago....

That was a great series.

Chalked one of the list that was The Loudest Voice.

Absolutely superb, one of the best series I've watched in the last year, outstanding cast but Crowe was a stand out, must get an award or two for that.

Very good insight into how Roger Ailes started Fox News and manipulated politics in the USA, and what has been happening for years over there is now how elections are won over here without a shadow of a doubt.

The Witcher.

I've not read the books, but played the games.

Watched the series twice. First time, meh, hated it really. Gave it another go, and freakin loved it! Will watch it again now I got my head around the timeline.

The production values are far inferior to GOT on HBO and its very noticeable (especially where dragons are depicted), but its still great.

That's exactly how I've approached it, have I been entertained, most certainly, it's well written and the production quality top notch.

Keep seeing great reviews about it but it’s from our American friends so unsure about trusting the reviews.

I enjoyed it, particularly the first series where everyone was trying to make sense of the disappearances...
