TV Series

Just watched the first episode of Picard on Amazon, very good.

Great to hear it's good. I'm looking forward to seeing it, but trying to be patient and get about three together to watch at once

Put me right in the Trek mood again, because after avoiding it for ages due to bad reports I finally watched Discovery, and really enjoyed it. Currently rewatching Enterprise for the first time since it was originally shows, and am enjoying it way more than I did at the time!

Only just finished Mr Robot. Bit gutted as it's the only thing I'd watched consistently over the last few years. Well wrapped up though and went on about the right amount of time. Very good writing and Rami Malek is clearly a brilliant actor.

Anyone recommend anything with a few series already out to get through? Not the obviouses, obv.

Im up to Season 3 of Gomorrah and its superb if you haven’t seen it.

The Windermere Children on BBC 2 last night was superb.

True story of Jewish children who survived the concentration camps and were rehoused in an ex army camp just outside Windermere and looked after for a few months as part of their recovery process.

Thoughtfully done.

@Nymzee @jaycee finished - the October Factions.

The first six episodes are very good - off the wall, weird, with a really good premise, but then it turns into a teen drama for the remaining four episodes, which lets it down big time.

Just started on the French supernatural one - Mortel, which is looking good so far.
I thought it become very predictable toward the end,it's been left open for a second series but it faded badly at the end

Won’t be watching series 2 if it comes out.

It was like they ran out of ideas and just resorted to cliches instead.
Yeah tend to agree,but as I keep saying I find that with most Netflix original stuff,it never quite gets it right,everything tends to be there but it's not put together properly,there's original ideas,good casts,etc but something is always missing

Ben fogle, lives in the wild. This week with a firmer world famous sports coach now living as a hermit in the forests of Croatia, really nice chap and ace show.
