Outstanding - the Pharmacist.

Four part doc just released on Netflix.

The true story of a pharmacist in Louisiana, whose son was murdered during a crack deal gone wrong and how out frustration with the lack of action by the police, tracked down his sons killer.

The documentary then splits off and follows a different path, as during the investigation into his sons death, he became aware of Doctor who was prescribing OxyContin for payment on demand and was prescribing 90% of the OxyContin in the state.

Despite getting virtually no help from the authorities, he then turns his attentions to bringing her down.

Highly recommended.

That’s my Sunday aftey bingewatch sorted...cheers!

I admired his courage/stupidity in going to that neighbourhood looking for answers, but he was an annoying interfering arl tit later on,plus all the recording he done bad weirdo him

Wouldn't say he was interfering. It was part of his job as a pharmacist to notice unusual prescriptions.

It was more annoying to see the local police, FBI and DEA unable to do anything despite the fact she had deposited nearly $2m and only seemed to be open after 11pm.

Finished Godfather of Harlem, didn't progress as well as I thought it was going to, bit disappointed with the finale, will prob stay with it for the next series though.

Debating whether to start with The Outsider or Cobra over the weekend.
Struggling with Godfather of Harlem tbh. 4 episodes in. Weirdly started the outsider yesterday but saw a mutilated kid at the beginning and really wasn't in the mood

Drug orientation in it urm.......no wonder you like it ..... lol

This Netflix is something else, can't understand why I took so long to subscribe to it.
Sorry if it's not as hip as some of the recent suggestions, but I missed all of series one of Happy Valley.
Making up for it now though getting through three episodes last night. I contemplated doing all six at once.
What a performance from Sarah Lancashire though. Exceptional.
Finished series one last night, need to carry on with series two tonight.
This I watched when it came out, but without knowing the background to the plot which of course has now been put right. Looking forward to it.

Itvs wednesday true story about the farm murders is quite good watched 7 of them yesterday back to back ....
concluding Episode this week - the guy from the thin blue line plays a great part in it - a disappointment is the Kirkby actor who is usually great he plays a welsman - boy his accent is ruddy awful... for a top actor...

I thought it was all abit slow and dull. Not many twists as I’d hoped. Agree with Stephen Graham’s accent, isn’t his finest performance.
