I had a quick mooch at it,it will be on the list,just that I have a few films to catch up with,I havent even seen Parasite yet and that was a must see when it was advertised so that will be a weekend film

That the Christian Bale western? If so I have seen it ,I donned my stetson and 6 shooter the other week for a western weekend end,very brutal film and Bale was very good in it

Narcos Mexico follows on from Narcos, as Narcos is really all about the rise and fall off Escobar.

The series gets more polished with each new series, as there’s more money spent and the quality of actors improves, as it gains popularity / viewing figures.

It really comes into its own when it switches to Mexico.

I thought the two series about Escobar was by far and away the best and couldn't get into the Mexico one without the two main DEA officers in it. Will give it another go now though I think.

Maybe you overlooked it, as it doesn`t look up to much ?

It`s a film like Wind River, that it`s under the radar good.

I thought the two series about Escobar was by far and away the best and couldn't get into the Mexico one without the two main DEA officers in it. Will give it another go now though I think.

The introduction of the always excellent Michael Pena and Diego Luna took it to next level for me.

The scene in the bathroom is the epitome of Cage. Thought the film was awful but enjoyed him being so mental

Do I need to watch the regular Narcos before jumping in to the Mexico one?

No I get that but there is Narcos and Narcos Mexico. Just wondering if Narcos has anything to do with the Mexico one

Very loosely, but you can pick up everything by watching the first Mexico Narcos.

The only thing you need to know before that, is the following the demise of Escobar, the Cali Cartel are the top boys in town.

On that note do the two series run at about the same time frame or does Narcos come first and then Narcos Mexico follows what occurs in Narcos?

I think its best to watch Narcos before Narcos Mexico...

The reason being that it sets the scene and also alot of the actors in Mexico are introduced in Narcos.
