TV Series

Watching 25k emaciated bodies buried because the chaps with the guns didn't like them, and how this chapter of history has been overwritten is an indictment upon all of humanity. Schama called it the culmination of a hundred years of persecution. Used to be known as a warning from history, now it seems humanity is oblivious to a warning that strikes them in the face.
I used to listen to the family talking about the members we lost.I was about 5/6 years old listening to these stories. They Resonate though. I am Gerard but have always been known as Ged by my friends.I am named after my Dads Uncle ...who lost his life during the war.Found out about my Grandad being involved in the rescue/salvage of HMS Thetis 2 years x

A very grim business that

Just watched the first two episodes of the German show Dark.

Interesting premise, but with premises like these they can go off the rails quick.

Should I continue on? It's got some great reviews and I want to give it a shot

100% continue with it.

Through out the whole of the three series, it remains compelling, the writing is consistently good and it never ever stops bending your head.

It`s probably best to watch the whole lot in one go, as if you take any kind of break from it, you ultimately lose the thread and end up having to go back a couple of episodes to understand it again.

I loved it.

Loved dark. Totally ridiculous but well written and paced with the writers having a clear idea of where the story was going across the 3 series.
