@TX Bill is no longer a moderator on GrandOldTeam.

He's moderated this place since day one and dedicated countless hours into helping make this place what it is.

Life dictates that he can't get onto GOT much these days and is unable to provide the time he has since way back in 2007.

Hopefully one day he'll have the time to moderate again, but until then, TX is now just a regular poster so be warned (y)

We're not looking for another moderator just yet.

Thanks for the kind words. I had just so much going on in the past year that my moderating duties really suffered and that really wasn't fair to the site and by that extension, you, the posters.

I'll still be around (both here and Twitter) and hopefully a bit more on here than I have been during the second half of the season.

And a big thanks to Danny/Dylan for having allowing me to serve this place for so long. What started out as a "Sure, I'd be happy to help" turned into a 7-8 year experience. Ups and downs along the way but a whole lot more ups to be sure.

And yes, my wife and I have been talking and one day, the family will find it's way over to Liverpool to watch a match and meet as many of you as possible.

Oh, I know...Danny and I sorted out the reason why the next day I believe. This was a long time ago, 5 years probably. The only reason why I said something was because it was in a heated thread and, not knowing you guys couldn't tell it was locked, made it look like Bill was trying to have the "last word" which came off as being antagonistic. I wasn't even part of the debate, if I remember correctly.

I've never had any sort of full-blown issue with Bill or any mod for that matter, it was just one of those things at the time...relatively new and here I am thinking mods are antagonising posters. I was ready to fight tha' power or KOFF somewhere else. Now I just pick my nose and post gifs. Another year or so and I'll be prime for the old poster's home...Shuffleboard Online, it's gonna' be boss. :confused:
