He crunched one of their players

He wasnt out of position from what i could see

Showed desire in his headers and chased down their players several times

Not sure where he went wrong tbh

He didn't do anything wrong. Just didn't see anything that made me think he's someone I want in the squad every week.

It's happened so many times where we big up young players for doing the simplest of things and then people get frustrated when they turn out to be average.

Positionally sound, but he didn’t have the confidence to get in the ball and a bad situation t expect him to run a game considering our plight. I hope he gets more minutes as he was a fish out of water today but he’s got plenty of room to grow.

For me, we need to have 3 in midfield and that means Allan + Doucoure + 1.

Id have Gbamin sitting as DM but if thats not feasible then Onyango in there.

Ive been very impressed with Branthwaite and if Onyango and Dobbin (extension) can become decent rotation options then thats a really good thing for us.

Thought he looked a bit nervous in the way young lads can, so needs to impose himself a bit more.

But did ok, won a couple of years and made a good tackle. Hes massive too, taller than Mina by the looks of things, so that gives him a real chance.

Very young, very raw. Could end up being a player but not convinced he's an upgrade on someone like Davies or Allan for the moment. Hope he proves me wrong though.
Thought much the same, in a crumbling team with no confidence, playing a formation where the centre midfield are consistently outnumbered it’s beyond a big ask for him to start games and make a difference compared to Allan, for example. One for the future.
