Decent enough showing from the US but some baffling selection choices. Durkin brings nothing and shouldn't have come back in and de la Fuente was awful and Llanez clearly better all tournament. Weah has a lot of talent but decision making will hold him back.

I know Soto played well for the most part but have to think Sargent would have been a difference maker at this level. He tore it up two years ago when he was 17. I still don’t understand the point of Gregg calling him in for camp and then not selecting him. Even if he’s not quite ready, to start, he scores goals. And if he wasn’t a sure thing for the gold cup, let him go with the U20s like Weah.

Tbh during the USA game I thought his distribution was amazing and seemed very composed all tournament never cracking. Never seen him have to make too many saves prior to that though but looks to be a keeper for the future

Actually saved it whilst not coming off his line. Haven’t seen a save doing that in forever.

I think Prozo would be a great signing if we got him. I know it was the WC but he’s got the size and is blessed with speed too. Like Ramirez has always looked composed and don’t think he’s seen a ST he couldn’t handle all tournament.
