Euro 2028: Uefa confirms UK and Republic of Ireland as tournament hosts

The UK and Republic of Ireland will host the 2028 European Championship, Uefa confirms at a meeting in Switzerland.

With the news that UK & Ireland has been awarded Euro2028, can only see it as a good thing for the club.
We should hopefully get our nice new venue right in public eye with 5 or so games to be played at the new ground.
Great for the club, great for the city.

For next month's Euro U21 qualifier at Goodison between England and N. Ireland, Everton STHs and Members can buy a ticket at a reduced price through Everton. Is it usual for a stadium hosting an international game to be offering their own fans tickets? What are the chances that any Everton fans who are STHs at BMD will get priority to buy a ticket for a Euro 28 match that is hosted there?

Following any euros, there will be absolutely no priority.

The applications are run through the UEFA website so no allegiances will be given sadly.

Like the current Euros at the moment , you can place an application for all the games you wish to attend, then you’ll know if you got any before finding out what the teams are.

Could end up being like France Vs. Italy, could end up being Georgia Vs. Albania

Then they’ll do a portal in like March time where any unwanted tickets will go on sale.

Had the same process now for the past 4 tournaments, so don’t think they’ll change it now.
