Unable to visit web site or forum

Hi,

i\'ve been unable to visit grandoldteam.com since the Chelsea match - regardless of browser (IE, firefox, chrome, opera and safari)...

i\'ve tried resetting my IP address - but that hasn\'t helped either...

traceroute seems to fail too...

I checked on other forums and they managed to get your site without a problem.

i\'m in Liverpool on virgin media... and having no trouble with any other sites.

the only way I managed to login now is by using a proxy server (hidemya**.com)

is there anything you can do to fix this...? i\'m pretty certain its nothing at my end, or probably not even virgin... think its a problem with the hosting company...

if you can find an answer, can you email me - just in case I can\'t manage to get back in and check...

I've had big problems too. I can usually view one page then it locks up and says web address can't be found, although all internet stuff is working fine :/

Yep, same for me, for the last week or so. Happens at least once a day.

If it's GOT, it's either because;

A) We've intentionally banned your IP. If this happens, you'd receive a "You've been suspended" message on visit.
B) The server lads have flagged your IP as troublesome (concurrent connections) and you're being blocked by our servers firewall. I've contacted them with both IPs to see if this is the case - though it's very rare. I'll report back.

If you want anything doing on here you have to go to the man who pulls the strings, MikelsGoat. Twice I've had problems and twice it has only been resolved by a straight talking angry PM to him. He can make things happen, good luck.

I think thats nailed it. The traffic logs confirm the same. Sure, it's an inconvenience, but some people don't half exaggerate.

Just chased it mate. Odd error, but I've had three people report having permanent issues getting on the site, but able to via a proxy.
