All Jonathan Meades shows are good, normally on BBC4. His use of language and style makes pretty much every sentence interesting.

This one on Essex is great.

Well summed up! Meades is absolutely terriffic.

IIRC he did one abar boozers in Liverpool once upon a time, in the Crown on Limey & the Central (opp. Central station). Spot-on.

A shameful rip off of the underrated bands but Trigger Happy TV, I know it was big in the 90's and people still copy the mobile phone scene but it could easily have been prime time Saturday Night Telly, far better than a man with a beard playing snooker.

Just for Laughs is a good shout, I used to love it.

OMG, I first saw JfL on a long-haul overnight flight... everyone and I mean every other passenger bar me was asleep so I asked the steward to put something on the tv... put my headphones on and howled laughing for the next 90 minutes as they played three programmes back-to-back... and I woke most of the other passengers up. Some of the stiff they did was very, very clever indeed.
