Don't be silly mate, if you add all the LFC related threads up on this forum it would be well over 500 pages.

Heehee...

...ok here goes, i searched "Liverpool" threads - in World Football - as anything about Liverpool football club is moved here.

So basically this search would find all Liverpool FC related threads. Understand?

Number of threads - 24.

lol. owned.

i guess thats about 50 pages in all. on the whole forum.

but RAWK in one thread alone has 200 pages. the mind boggles to how many separate threads about us they have.

And thats 51 pages in total actually...

Plus their pages are alot longer than ours...we only allow about 10 posts per page, RAWK have about 25 or so.

But we're the bitter ones.

Maybe search the term "Liverpool"? You'll see theres 25 pages of threads returned. And most of them are Premiership Match day threads and posts like this with no negative reference to Liverpool.

Compare that to RAWK.

I like to think I'm not so insecure as to not be able to appreciate other teams without it taking anything away from my love of Everton. I'd be happy to give Liverpool respect if they weren't so objectionable.

i do recall a time when liverpool genuinely had about the best team in europe & one couldn't but have a little respect, but that was a long time ago now. i have no great beef with manchester united & arsenal winning silverware as, for the most part, they tend to play good football. chelsea & liverpool prove themselves capable on occasion, but that seems to be somewhat few & far between.

Some of the replies on here are ridiculous to be honest. Are you Evertonians or Mancs? Why do you love them so much?

Agree mate. I also enjoyed a lot of the football Roy Evans' team played. There I've said it

Come on mate, you're gutted United never picked up that football writers Player of the Year award and the Golden Gloves award. The double is safely tucked away in the Anfield trophy cabinet for at least 12 months.

You do have to give them credit for simply rolling on and on and on - steamrollering everything in their path, until we put a spanner in the works. But apart from the genius of a Dalglish or a McDermott, I wouldn't really say they were entertaining teams they put together...and they killed more games in the two points for a win era than anyone.

Evening davek

I always say that what affected Liverpool in a big way was the abolishment of the back pass rule in 1992

indeed, there's many a time over the decades where one has been totally unsurprised to see rs win a match 1-0 (pen. 90m!). but within that there was a spell, probably early to mid 80's if my recollection is accurate when the team seemed to move beyond the highly effective machine Paisley built to a team that could play good football & often did. it seemed to me they were never the same after Paisley.
