.....has to be a bonus facing Chelsea without Costa and Hazzard but both haven't pulled p trees this season and they have quality replacements. Only time will tell but this is winnable.

Costa has been in top form though Eggs since Hiddink took over. I think Jagielka will be delighted as Costa made him look like a pub player during that 3-3 game.

Costa is a massive blow to them, let's hope he defo misses the game. Hazard has been poor all season I think I'd rather he played as the replacement will likely do more work.

I agree though this is winnable, and Everton have had all week to prepare a set up for this game, so you'd have to say the advantage is ours. COYB!

They are vey vulnerable now. I'd say they had one reason for carrying on this season, and they lost hold of it last night.

Costa out will be a big blow as will Hazard if he fails to make it.

I believe the scales tipped decisively in our favour last night. A tough game coming up with them nevertheless, but we had the beating of a better Chelsea team on their own patch just over a month ago and they needed a phantom goal to prevent us beating them.

2-1 for Everton.

They'll go all out for this now though. Only way of even getting a semblance of any success from this season (a lot like us really).

I'm going for a draw as the safe option because I was confident at the weekend and that cam back to bit me.

They'll want to win it; they just wont have the focus and intensity they had last night. Their players have been playing well in recent weeks to get themselves into CL contention. They've lost momentum now and it'll be tough to get it going again less than three days after that body blow.

Fingers crossed Dave!

Whatever we're going to need to be at our best - basically as we were for the first 75 minutes of the W.Ham game.

Conversely, from their point, there's nothing better than a quick turn-around in fixtures to get over a bad result.

We need to win, they need to win or draw. I see us throwing the kitchen sink at this.

It's a one off shot to catch a team without two important players days after a deflating defeat that ended their season as far as most of their first team are concerned.

I'm sure we'll concede. We just have to go for it and get our noses in front and then battle to preserve it.

Been fantastic at that all season haven't we.

Without Terry and Zouma, Chelsea are playing Ivanovic in the centre.

Left back will be either Baba or Kenedy, both of whom are quite inexperienced in the Premier League. I'm not sure how much either will be trusted to go forward - perhaps we could compare them to Galloway.

So right wing will be an important point of attack. We've got the choice of Lennon or Deulofeu, and each has his merits. We should probably continue with Lennon in his current form, with Deulofeu on the bench.

And I'd certainly expect Lukaku to get the better of Cahill and Ivanovic at some point. With eleven men - and an alert linesman - we should be more than a match for Chelsea.

We'll really need to watch out for Willian and not allow him much space or time on the ball. Also got to watch out for Fabregas threading passes through the eye of a needle.

Couldn't work out if you are some sort of psuedo french man - trying to post in an Allo Allo style or if you have run out of E's on you key board?

Sending you some E's just in case:

Today's fitness report;

Aaron Lennon has a hamstring problem and a decision on his fitness will be made today. So it seems there was a good reason to take him off last Saturday.

Bryan Oviedo was admitted to hospital on Wednesday after suffering from a chest infection. Martinez said on Thursday: “Bryan has reacted really well and we hope that he is going to be back with us tomorrow. At the moment it is too early to tell [whether he can play against Chelsea].

“We had something similar with Tom Cleverley and he missed the Aston Villa and West Ham games. Gareth Barry had something similar and he was able to play a little bit of a part against West Ham." Cleverley and Gareth Barry have both been cleared for selection.

Should Oviedo not be fit, Leighton Baines could earn his first start in six weeks. Martinez added: “Leighton Baines seems to have reacted really well and the pain has eased off in his ankle.”
