Can't really see this thing about being a different team in the cups, we have beaten two Premiership teams in the cups this season, Norwich on penalties and Bournemouth who had 7 changes from their league side. I admire a bit of optimism but let's try and be honest with ourselves.

We all have to this week put yesterday to one side - Saturday brings a huge game for our club that needs a total support not a goodison wanting a public hanging. Regardless of the current problems let's get behind the team and do all we can to get a positive result. Remember you support Everton.

Don't forget City at home!

I do support Everton, at the moment all I can see is defeat after defeat. But as the week wears on I will start to think, this team can't be this bad, we will come good etc. But at the moment I haven't seen anything that makes me believe Everton can beat Chelsea. I'm sorry to say it but that is the reality of the situation.

I know - but this team does have the ability to beat Chelsea, demonstrated by an outstanding away record. They will need us more than ever mate. If we turn on them we making it easy for the opposition - we must not let that happen.

4-3 Everton !
Up 4-0 @ HT .... Roberto to sub Howard in for last 10 min , 3 own goals ... Howard injury / Jags saves PK in injury time.
