Looks decent, but I have a question.
Is Tom Hardy one of the most overrated actors out there? I haven't seen everything he's done, but he's essentially the same character in everything I've seen.
Not Statham levels of sameness, but honestly, not far off.
He does often seem to play a tough guy of some sort. But arguably you could say the same for De Niro before he branched out into comedy etc.
That said I do think Hardy puts in decent performances and when you have a deeper dive into his oeuvre he has actually played some different characters.
Inception, Black hawk down, Dunkirk, Warrior for me have shown a bit more ability.
Equally Christopher Nolan likes him which is good enough for me!

I have to admit I’m not his hugest fan tbh, certainly some of his performances haven’t been my cup of tea, but I’m not sure if that’s more the characters or just him / the accents, Bane and to an extent Alfie Solomons are a couple of performances that make me scratch my head, but it would seem they were what the directors wanted

Sounds a bit like the Fargo accent. Minnesota wasn't it?
It's set in Chicago so guessing it is a Midwest accent. One of our American cousins on here can probably tell us.
He`s out of this world good in the Taboo Netflix drama and the film Locke, which is arguably his finest film - he`s anything but a tough guy in this.
