We've just upgraded the forums platform.

It's quite a software upgrade, and given I largely wing this site with a very limited tech nous - there will be some inevitable hiccups.

Please report any issues you encounter in this thread. Would appreciate not clogging this so just technical issues, not general issues like - Everton still having Ashley Williams.
 
It's really good.

The only thing I think is a bit unclear is the colour of the alerts. It used to be easier to see.

Now it's like this for me :

I cant work gifs on here now !

I normally copy the gif and paste it in the reply box. just comes up as a photo now

Thanks for displaying ads. You can zoom in on your browser by the way, helpful on bigger monitors. Give it a try.

With regards to alerts, will take a look.

Anyone else having trouble posting? Past three days I've been able to read-only the forum for much of the time but the message field to post in wont load up (which I accept might be seen as a good thing by some).

Obviously back to normal atm for me. Just wondered if this was a common occurrence due to the system changes?

In seriousness @davek that shouldnt happen, it it continues send me a direct message with more info including device/browser.

So far, speed/usage across the site is up since upgrade so that's a positive start...

Used to happen pretty much on a daily basis to me pre-upgrade too. Used to be when you’d load for the first time on Safari (mobile) wouldn’t get a box to type in for a good 5/10 minutes.

Hasn’t happened since mind but keeping an eye out.
