Really nervous about this game. US has the background of doing well against teams that are much better and then sinking to the level of their opponents, who they should beat. I'd have more faith in US vs Germany than in US vs Slovania.

We'll be fine. It'll be an easy 3-1 victory. *I keep telling myself that! truth is I'm just as nervous as some of the FA cup ties last year*

A lot of people have been saying that Bradley will probably go with the same squad that played England. But that squad was put out there to get a draw. It was more defensive, something we can't afford to do against Slovenia. We need to play attacking football, which means putting in a skilled midfielder (Torres) and a forward that has been scoring in almost every game he plays (Buddle). We need to go for the win here.

He's young but been slowly integrated into team last couple years. He wasn't sure if he wanted to represent mexico or U.S. for awhile (dad from mexico, mom american, born in texas).

He turned down U.S. offer to play in Olympics, but soon after chose America as Mexico hadn't called yet. They call him "gringo torres" in mexico when playing for pachuca.

Jonathan Spector has looked terrible in the lead ups to the WC. I don't know what Alexi is smoking but it's some weird stuff.
