The game isn't untill 8 pm US time, which is 1 am UK time. But the reason I'm starting this thread so early is that if your looking forward to seeing LD play tonight, then prepare to be disappointed. The Washington Post's Steve Goff reports that "The very early -- and very unconfirmed, unofficial -- buzz is that several regulars will remain in street clothes. The names I hear are Jozy Altidore, Landon Donovan, Clint Dempsey, Michael Bradley and Carlos Bocanegra. Other veterans will be in reserve."

after Baine's performance yesterday in the friendly v. Mejico, I'm betting he'll be cut...which leaves the US as Evertons' team! Is there any other world cup qualifier with 2 Everton connections? (yes i know the donovan connection is now weak, but I bet he's back next year!)

thanks! I'm a few year Everton fan that didn't want to start posting when Donovan came on...so i saved it til now when i'm chair ridden with a broken foot.

My prediction for todays game: US 3, Czechs 0...Landon with 3 goals, tears off his jersey at the 90th minute revealing Toffee blues underneath while Timmy sings Forever Everton!
