I think they might have noticed all that dock land to be developed between the Liver Building, AKA Everton HQ, and a new football stadium building site.
That’s a bit far fetched to be fair
Those lads would never think about making a couple of billion on the docks.
Same way they never even considered sweetening the council up by giving them 7 m a year

I'm not sure Moshiri owning 49.9% of the club with the option to increase his stake to 70-odd% (reportedly dependent on the building of the stadium) suggests the plan was for Usmanov to come in. I think we're well and truly Moshiri's club and Usmanov will do his own thing, probably buying into another (likely foreign) club, if he does want to keep investing in football clubs, that is.
The underlining worry for me is Arsenal CEO Ivan Gazidis is going to be the new AC Milan CEO next week according to reports,it will announced after the window closes this week.

I'm sure Gazidis and Usmanov have had lots of discussions, dinners etc in their time at Arsenal over the years.

If he goes to a foreign club the signs point to AC Milan as there has been tentative links this year with Usmanov and AC Milan, plus the gov of Italy has changed and lowered the tax system/tax rate aimed at the international film/tv industry and to entice Footballers and investment in the Italian game.

The Italian authorities want Serie A back to the 80-90's and getting the best players playing in Italy again.

The reason Ronaldo has gone to Juve is for tax reasons apparently and Modric is eyeing a move to Inter for the same reasons, foreign investment in Serie A clubs the last 12 months with the new tax laws has attracted new ownership.

AC Milan already have an iconic stadium, are one of the biggest names in football and they missed out on a CL by 6-7 points last season and it would cost a lot less to get them back to their former glories than it would us.

Lets hope i'm wrong and he ends up at our club,Moshiri's close relationship puts us at an advantage.

Meeting with Hibbo, it's on.

TLDR, all business types at the top are dirty end of story. Now go back to RAWK an cry ;)

No, there are big differences in how individuals have gained wealth, and how the rich people behave.
I'll tell you a secret. Not everyone who has a different opinion is redshite ;-)

Did the boss give the capo the ok to go ahead with that job over there on the docks that the capo's lieutenant has been laying groundwork for? That job that he had some help with by one of the boss's guys?

Not saying it's like that, but that's how it looks like it's being organised to get things done.

The Sun saying he’s joining our board and Kenwright could be stepping down as early as tomorrow.

You just know for a fact that they’ve made that story up on a whim to fill some space.

I’ll only believe it if it comes from: The Times, The Guardian or The Independent.

That paper isn't worth it's weight in excrement. We'll know as soon it's announced by the club.

LOLs joking kidda! look there are not many ethical ways to live in the world really, you buy any nice trabbs or clothes lately? you get them through child slavery, which makes you implicit in serious issues that an unmoral. Abramovich is bad, Theresa May is bad Ronald McDonald is bad. What are you doing about it? protesting that everton have a bad person involved? theres too many dirty investors and business types running the show. if one wants to take us into the higher playing fields of world football so be it.

David Conn has a bit of an axe to grind as well, he was involved in backing up the Panorama thing for the guardian.

I’m sure Usmanovs people were tripping over themselves to talk to him alright.

Let's be frank here, Usmanov has motivation to want to keep his intentions private. It is unlikely he makes them clear to said journalists. If he did, they almost certainly don't tell the world within hours of him selling at Arsenal.

Believe it when it's announced mate. The press are all over the place on this because they know very little.

Usmanov receives £550mill from his Arsenal sale which still gives him ample to buy into both Everton and AC Milan.

One has a new stadium, the other needs want made out of lots of steel which goes in hand with a dock front development that needs even more steel.

I know someone who is in the steel business so buying into two clubs could be a steal>>>>:celebrate:
