Those lads don’t pay taxWhat's the tax bill like for selling his Arsenal shares?
Not that much if he invests it.What's the tax bill like for selling his Arsenal shares?
There is the possibility that Usmanov wants to liquidate his assets in England and has no intention of reinvesting because of the political situation.
I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest. If only he had an accountant who'd tried out a similar "wheeze" to make sure. Those lads don’t pay tax
It was like NYE on here when it all broke, now its the morning after and many have the mother of bad heads...but you did give her your number...and she seemed keen through the beer goggles
Now we wait for the phone to ring
So until it does, No news is good newsOnly for it to ring and and you be told that she doesn’t fancy you but your arch enemy across the road will be balls deep in her within hours.
Everton that.
There is the possibility that Usmanov wants to liquidate his assets in England and has no intention of reinvesting because of the political situation or just maybe because it was Arsenal or nothing for him.
On the other hand he has made a lot of money out of just 30% of the Arsenal shareholding. Arsenal are a big club but they have slipped away from the very top table in the last four or five seasons ... and are still valued at 1.8 billion, the capital gain to be made out of taking over a club and building it up is mind boggling.
It has been suggested that Usmanov could buy a club in Europe but is their the possibility of making the same gain there ?
If Usmanov does decide to get involved at Everton I don't see it happening for some time, I think the stadium issue will be decided, I think we may see a lot of the old guard already gone from the club and Moshiri firmly in charge and even more of the share capital hovered up.
I think it may be news dropped suddenly at some future date just as the decision to sell his shares in Arsenal was announced.
Of course, that doesn't mean there is no influence in the background and the sponsorship given by USM to Everton already means that he has some some involvement already.
Yes I think you are right , isn't it called "rollover relief" .Not that much if he invests it.
I don't know much about this guy's dealings, but is he the sort of person who would wait for a team (like us) to get in a stronger/attractive state and pay a higher price/risk being denied OR invest early and make it more profitable and thus himself richer? There is the possibility that Usmanov wants to liquidate his assets in England and has no intention of reinvesting because of the political situation or just maybe because it was Arsenal or nothing for him.
