Fantastic idea.. if of course it's implemented properly, the NBA has it and it works where all Luxury tax is pooled together and split amongst teams who did not pay the tax, so you are paying other teams because you decided to spend more.
Good Idea perhaps, but clearly it's here now to penalise any club that newly challenges the established sellable brands. Clearly anything new is unwelcome because they don't know if it will sell. This is totally about greed.

A good idea ONLY if they backdate it to when Abramovic started buying success and apply it to ALL such clubs which have acquired non footballing cash.

They can't back date it as Chelsea didn't break any rules, you can't back date any new law/rules.

Is there actually any proof that Usmanov is in any way close to Everton or has any intentions of getting involved? Or is it just the Moshiri link?

USM sponsorship

All coincidences and fake news. The Esk said he'd never sell his Arsenal shares!

He had no need to, he was either just bored with having no say or it was so he could be involved elsewhere, he didnt want Kronke to have all of the shares but as soon as he said he would sell them Kronke gets 1st refusal, he didnt need to sell them for any reason other than either or both of those 2 really.
