Nice guy overall but to me his posts recently come across as a man scorned as none of his ITK shouts have came true. I understand he's prob passing on info he receives in good faith but should maybe reconsider his source.

If it comes out that Usmanov is investing in us then it proves he's always been involved which means the Esk has always been wrong. And that is a "fact", based on his sources and info, that he has maintained since Moshiri joined us. I'm not sure why either.

Imo to try and redeem some credibility in the face of Usmanov being a reality, the Esk is trying to turn that situation into a sleight against Mosh which doesn't even make sense tbh if Usmanov has always been involved as reported and speculated anyway.

Don't think the Esk or anyone else can say with certainty that Usmanov will officially rock up here or not, but the evidence is certainly mounting up to suggest that he's on his way and as mentioned earlier in the thread he's definitely involved in the background 100%.
 
This Esk guys causes a bit of a stir doesn't he, he'd left here by the time I joined I was told but he certainly seems to think he knows the inner workings of the club. I don't get attention seekers online, I do my best not to be noticed online personally lol.
 

I'm not one for idol gossip, but through a work contact, who has a small link to the club, I was told this early this morning. I wouldn't shoot the messenger.

Usmanov met Ancelotti first, before anyone else regardless of media reports, he is trying to sell the vision of EFC, what Usmanov wants, where he wants to put us and when. He sold the vision to CA of the new ground and also promised major backing next summer. He wants CA to take EFC to a new level and build a base as to when he calls it a day we are in safe hands and on the up. Moshri only met CA after he had met Usmanov. CA will be joining.

Now, again, I don't do idol gossip, it may be true, it may not, but just hearing those statements just brings goosebumps to my body

He’s so desperate that Usmanov never formally joins Everton, he’s spent the last 3 years trying to tell us how it’ll never happen, he would have to delete his entire internet presence if it ever does.

Obviously, for those who wish to believe that Usmanov will be our generous benefactor, the fact that USM sponsor the training facilities gives a nice straw to grasp onto in hope.

But rationally, it’s not evidence that Usmanov owns a large share of Everton.

isn't USM a holding company though, as in, why would he pay to get exposure to his company that doesn't actually do anything and cant be bought into, unless it was to sneaky money into the coffers haha
 

Apropos of the 360 degrees issue: the circumference of the earth at different latitudes is calculated by finding the cosine of the latitudinal degree and multiplying that by the circumference at the equator.
Pretty sure the skipper on Usmanov’s yacht would be familiar with this...
 
Are we looking at matters a bit to simplistically. There is a new stadium in the offing in a prime location, Ancellotti comes in and see the club as a project. Is their a belief between Moshirir and Usmanov as seeing Everton as a club ripe for for getting to the top?

It seems to me that there is more to what is happening than meets the eye.

And why would he need to calculate the circumference at whatever latitude he was ?If he is sailing a boat he is not likely to need that surely given there are very few latitudes that one can circumnavigate the world whilst sailing all the way .
 
Does he have any official connection? I know there’s a commercial link in terms of sponsorship but nothing more to my knowledge.
