Tbf he bought the club with money he got from selling his Arsenal shares to Usmanov which were gifted to him by Usmanov in the first place. So who really bought the Everton shares. Any other funding he provided tho may have been his
On panorama. Moshiri was asked where the £150 ,000,000 come from to buy the everton shares. Mosh said on camera if I give you £50 whos is it. usmanov gave mosh the mo ey from day 1. But wasnt allowed to have interest in 2 clubs.

Well, I didn;t realise he'd sold up there, tbh.

Still, this is just BS. If he was serious he'd have just done it.

He's either here now and invested in Everton surreptitiously via Moshiri, or he's fishing about for other clubs to invest in.

You're a smart guy Dave. Consider the broader picture.

Just today we seem perilously close to WW3. Russias closest ally on one side, the UKs on the other. You then have a high profile Russian, with links to the top of the Russian state, and a club having to get a new infrastructure project past the UKs local and potentially national government. It's very obvious why he has had to stay in the background until that's a long way to being granted.

Go away you whopper.
I have already got 1 warning because of you and your wumming so you are now on a very short and select list.
my ignore list

How is my statement incorrect

If he's the money man and the real man in charge then he's been making the decisions regarding managers and D.O.F

Would that be incorrect?

Not too sure but I can't remember Usmanov getting much of a look in with the Arsenal stadium build but I think that was what got the feud going with Kroenke and our stadium has been a carrot to get involved and will become a bit of a vanity project for him, a bit of an.up yours to Kroenke.

IIRC the Emirates was built before Usmanov or Kroenke were on board, the old Arsenal shareholders waited for it to be turned into reality before cashing in. The feud comes from how the stadium was financed and the lack of spending because of those decisions. I think at one point they both had similar level of shareholdings and Usmanov would have probably been happy pooling money and investing at that stage but Kroenke had over ideas and rapidly persuaded others to sell him their shares until he could really marginalise Uzi.

All good news for us. Thanks Stan.
