Before Moshiri's arrival we were heading aimlessly toward the bottom half of the table and despite how poor the team has performed we have recovered somewhat in terms of league position. He can be held accountable for appointing Silva who had nothing on his CV to suggest he could get us back to the top end of the Premier League. Koeman's second season was a disaster that no one could have been expecting given the good first season and the funds that were made available to him in that summer transfer window.

Its been 4 years since Moshiri took over with a view to making us compete at the top end over a certain period of time. Mistakes have been made in trying to fast track us into the top four by spending big on transfer fees and wages. It took Chelsea some time to get things right and win their first Premiership. They had some near misses and had to settle for cup wins and top four finishes. It took a while for it to come together after the money came into City too. West Ham have lofty ambitions too, and despite spending money on transfers and getting use of a new stadium on the cheap they're worse off then us.

To describe Moshiri's tenure as being an utter failure is a bit premature. We're well place to recover from a poor start to the season and make the top 6. We've gotten a well established manager who has managed at the very top level. Our proposed new stadium design got plenty of publicity. And there hasn't been any announcements saying that we're finished signing players in the future. So there have been some signs of progress.

Eh? Abramovich bought Chelsea and they finished 2nd in his first season. Then he hired Mourinho and won the league in his 2nd.

We've spent more than ever before and this season has been as bad as it has been for a long time. When it comes to football, Moshiri hasn't a clue and it's worrying.
