Just one game, but he seems to have the tools. Let’s ease off though. I’d settle for competent striker at this point, never mind generational talent. How good is Pepi? Can he be a generational talent?

Yeah exactly this. He's been really good in MLS at 18 but he's going to have to do it in bigger and better places.Just one game, but he seems to have the tools. Let’s ease off though. I’d settle for competent striker at this point, never mind generational talent.
Missed the second half…grrr
Think they’ll make it. From what I’ve seen so far, it should be Mexico, US, and Canada for the top 3 spots. Panama isn’t very strong at the back, and Costa Rica is way down. Never know, but I like Canada’s chances.it would be nice to see Canada qualify for the world cup, they have only been in the competition once in 1986 in Mexico
They didn't have a great tournament and lost 1-0 to France, 2-0 to Hungary and 2-0 to Soviet Union (Russia)
I like him, I think they need a player with his talent level and how he carries himself on the field desperately. Especially in concacaf qualifying that can get chippy.
I also will say, I do feel somewhat guilty criticizing him cause I like a good time lol and could see myself making the same mistakes...
However, this is the 2nd time in months... Gotta be much much better than that. Between showing up out of shape after the off season and this kind of stuff, he is precariously close to throwing it all away if he doesn't get his head on right.
It'll catch up with him.
My friend’s brother-in-law runs one of the well-known academies in the Toronto area. Some really good youth prospects coming through these daysThink they’ll make it. Interesting. Anything to do with the ramp up to 2026 or is there another reason they’re seemingly producing much more talent these days? Seems like guys like Davies, David, and Buchanan just kind of sprouted out of nowhere. My friend’s brother-in-law runs one of the well-known academies in the Toronto area. Not sure about the reality on a national level, but he’s seeing a lot of kids whose parents come from countries with a footballing heritageInteresting.
