USMNT

They just aren't good enough to play slow and side to side. One miscontrol, one inaccurate pass and you're starting over and they are always going to have miscontrols and inaccurate passes. It just has to have more directness to it.

Not good, I'm going to write it off in part due to the situation, they just don't give a crap and I can't blame them in an empty stadium in some patched together camp.

Think the group will be fairly competitive with England as one of the weaker Pot 1 teams and Iran as a strong Pot 4 team
Feels like it could be another one of those gruesome groups where five points wins it.

And, if we somehow miss out on the knockout rounds, we won't have to live with finishing DFL as the holders on two points behind Paraguay, Slovakia and New Zealand, so there's that.

I’m not sure why I had high expectations. For all the talk of a golden generation, these guys have proven over and over that that they can’t win away from home and the coach continues to play favorites and have no imagination. We still only managed to finish 3rd in qualifying. Even that was on goal difference. Given where thing stand, I’ve no real hope for even an 02 like run anymore. Just gonna enjoy the tournament and root for Senegal and the Swiss to make some real noise as dark horses.

I'm prepared to be a big Senegal guy. Also have my eyes on Denmark, Morocco now that the good players are back and Argentina as I want Messi to end the argument.
