Will Pefok be in the World Cup squad?
Just bizarre that he wasn’t in the squad for the friendlies given how well he is playing and how limited the other forwards are.

He should be in contention to start. The fact that there’s question marks around his squad inclusion is just down to Gregg’s favoritism and stubbornness. What I expect will happen is Gregg pulls a CYA move, includes him, and he only sees the field for 10 minutes at the end of a match were inevitably losing.

What's unfortunate, and I've definitely changed my tube on berhalter. I'm less harsh on him as I used to be, he has done a better job than I expected

Maybe you guys could help me remember or correct me but was it brooks or was it another cb, I feel like it was brooks at hertha just never getting a shot and when he finally did he played like garbage... this was maybe last summer or a little longer ago

I feel like there was someone we all wanted berhalter was inexplicably not playing to us, and he wound up being right. So if I am somewhat correct, he earned some leeway with me, but I'll def be pissed off watch Jesus do nothing out there.

Shocking if true given how Gregg seemed to favor Steffen through qualifying. Though honestly not arsed. Turner should be #1 regardless. Assuming this means Johnson is #2 and maybe he likes Horvath as a penalty specialist?

Don't need a penalty specialist when you're out in the groups!

Seriously though I don't really like that strategy. Chances are it is inconsequential if that's his thinking. And Turner 100% should start.

Thought leaving Pefok out was a bit mad. Is Steffen injured? Thought he was first choice.

Pefok should be there. Gregg just doesn’t like him seemingly because of one bad miss like a year ago. Idk. Steffen was first choice much of qualifying but he’s not as good as Turner so I really don’t care. Horvath over him is a bit of a shock though.
