I mean, our local football is corrupt AF and still has better decisions with literally no other nation watching us.

I would like to see the manager have 3 challenges per half where he could challenge a decision or non decision, if he wins the decision he keeps all his challenges but if he loses the challenge he only has two left etc etc...
This works well in cricket & football & could work well in football..

I like the idea but 3 per half is too many. That's one every 15 mins each, so challenge every 7.5 mins on average and likely a lot more than this in last 10/15 as one manager becomes desperate so uses how ever many they have left for anything.
One challenge per game - iif you waste it then your fault. Plus ref can refer if chooses, however any player or manager making the TV symbol straight red. You saw it today with Shelves, and you know the 'big' teams will be all over the ref every game if not as they already are anyway.

We need refs like today's. Didn't get too involved, didn't book Mina for three poor (but not dangerous) tackles. Wasn't fooled by the dive from Lincoln player, lectured Kenny before card (in control, not officious). Too good for the Prem which gets Mason, Moss, Pawson etc.

Think you’ve mentioned this before.
Makes something that should be simple a little more convoluted.
The point of VAR is to get the right decision. If a manager uses his 3 challenges and then the ref misses a clear pen. Then what?
Add to that I wouldn’t trust Marco Silva to use any challenges correctly.

Although I do still think the challenges could work...
Marco Silva the jury is still out but he must be given ample time to rebuild this team & get a fair crack at fighting for the top 6 & getting Everton back to where they belong winning trophies & competing in Europe...

For it but they need to make the rules for use clearer. And also I feel like when the ref goes to the screen at the side, he is under pressure to give it regardless then. Even if it isn't a one or whatever.
I can't help thinking that the RS will clean-up on var, they will pester the life out of officials. It would be great if the last 60 years of matches
