ffs there's some idiots on here. if we were that desperate (same goes to any players) we would have made a right go of signing said player if they were in our price range/wage structure. why does everyone moan everytime some player is linked with another club? even if moyes had £30m to spend, it doesn't mean we would have signed this guy anyway. if he was desperate, he would have sorted a deal before this window started. If it was down to brugge needing to replace him 1st before selling him, he'd be on his way here ffs.

We've made the least subs in the league, because we have no bench, we are desperate.
That makes no sense. Moyes has always been a manager who makes subs conservatively. Your argument falls down when you consider that teams like Wigan, Reading and Southampton make plenty of subs.
Or because we have a manager who is allergic to making voluntary changes before the 60th minute and doesn't use all three subs when chasing a win against Southampton.
