vaughan back soon!!!

I just hope they won't rush him back. We've got forwards now to choose from so he can recuperate from his injury completely before being thrown into the hotspots again.

Vaughan will be third or fourth choice now. Shows we've got quality, although look at sides like the big four and tottenham (Keane, Defoe, Berbatov and Bent - must be almost 60 million pounds worth of talent there).

We've still got a way to go upfront in comparison, although we are probably healthier than Man U are right now with their strike force injuries.

Would place Vaughan joint third with McFadden.

1. AJ
2. Yak
3. Vaughan, McFadden
5. Anichebe
6. Lucas Yutkiewizc (sp)

But I'd like to see how a partnership with Vaughan and Yak, with both of them healthy and 100% fit, would turn out.

It'll be great to see him back as he was our form striker towards the back end of last season. AJ has had a lean spell so hopefully having real competition for places up front will get him back into form.

I am thinking I would not put AJ down as no.1 striker like Blue whizz has done. If Vaughan really gets fit then I could see him being equal no.2 with AJ. Even watching him in the England game I was struck by how lightweight he is.

Made that order on the current look on the squad.

1. AJ (Fast, relatively injuryfree, proven his worth for us)
2. Yak (Strong, experienced striker with a good goal/match ratio)
3. Vaughan (Great potential, young, but injuryprone)
3. McFadden (Huge Potential in some games, proven he can do it internationally, but need consistency)
5. Anichebe (Big potential, promising, but tires in later stages, young)

Might change later in the season, but for now.. I rank them in my mind in that order.

does any body know the games to goal ratio of them all?????

just for the mighty blues that is ok the yak is 1-1 but i wonder who is secound???

If I calculate correctly (it's sunday so brain is on holiday):

AJ: 11 goals/32 games (not included his season with CP)
BT: 13/74
McF: 9/97
Vau: 5/17
Ani: 4/21

I 100% agree

I think in a years time vaughan will be our number 1 striker at the moment probably aj and the yak.
