Yes but, did you all remember to press the 'wide' button on your freeview remotes at least, to adjust the size of the screen in broadcast?

I tried them all with no joy. There was one that gave me a couple of mm extra (16:9) but that was it.

I suspect we were all victims of a feed taken from cameras primarily broadcasting to an HD audience. I see this regularly on Setanta wIth Dutch games - the camera crew assume all viewers are HD (or don't care about the rest of us) and it's the same thing every week.

I suspected as much. I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that. Even the replay didn't give it much justice. This was the Setanta Ireland feed we had.
