Many thanks Chico, I will certainly relax and enjoy. A trip to the Camp Nou on Tuesday is already booked. Staying in a 5 star hotel, (it was on offer) and looking forward to chillin' for a few days. Must say though, I'll miss you guys.
I'll be back on Thursday in time to watch the match though.

Stand up if you love the Blues, stand up if you love the Blues...........

I'd stand up if I could without falling over.

Barcelona is ace, and the Camp Nou is awesome. The museum there is exceptional, i spent hours in it and my avatar is actually taken from a photo there. Make sure you check out the training pitch that is kinda round the back and to the side of the stadium that is next to some weird educational building. You can get pretty close to the players. When i went it was packed, but i got to see Messi and a couple others. You have to actually go out of the stadium area to see it, although i did see some people who managed to get in on the inside, and i did see one guy climbing over the fence.

Obviously you should go see all the Gaudi stuff. My fave was the Parc Cuell. I'd love to be able to go hang out there every day. Also the market just off of La Rambla is great too. Theres a really nice grilled fish bar in the corner there.

Oh and btw, pineapple on pizza rules.

Thanks for the info. I see Messi was injured yesterday, hope he get's better in time for any CL action!
Got loads to do today, take dogs to the dog sitter, pack, sort the fish tank out and that's as well as doing all my girly chores.
Adios amigos

pineapple on pizza- of course not. Brown over red sauce. Black over white puddings. Drive on the left. Pints, never halfs. Tea over coffee. 5% beer (not 3% piss nor 9% wake up in the park), Beans with sausages, Coke over pepsi, trainers over shoes.

Innit?

Karl Pilkington on Pineapples:

I do like fruit, but I find that some of it involves too much messing about to get into. I mainly buy fruit that I can have as a snack when I'm out for the day. Apples are good for this. Bananas are good. Plums are fine. Pineapples are too much hassle. That's why you never see anyone buying pineapples in supermarkets. People should stop growing them.

There's too much fruit knocking about nowadays, and I think this is why we're told to eat five pieces a day - it's to get rid of it all. Once I was drinking some orange cordial and thought "this tastes a bit weird" and looked at the label. It wasn't just orange, they'd gone and slipped in some pineapple that they couldn't get rid of. This is happening more and more.

not since the mandarin craze of 89?

I think it was between Ninja Mutant turtles (first time round), the beastie boys second album and inline skating.

:D , not far off Leon, always thought of them as baby tangerines myself, sometimes i've thought that it would be nice if my wife could put some into the jelly, before it set's like, put some custard on it, then cream on that, like a triffle sort of thing, but has she ever, no she hasn't. :(
She has served it with condensed milk though, usually on a sunday.

Grannie Monty's fav recipe Latch,

two tins of mandarin segments, drain and keep the juice.

Two packets of orange jelly and a sachet of gelatin

A tub of plain yogurt

Make the jellies as directed and added to that mix the juice from the tins and the extra gelatin, stir until fully dissolved, no bits at all

Allow to cool slightly by standing for 10/15 minutes, then add segments.

After a further 5 mins, stir in the yogurt and leave to set over night.

It is brilliant especially on a hot summers day:lol: :P (y)
