How like Everton to bring a player back to solve the suspect right side as well as secure a loan for the exact same position.

He is indeed hench. He's not that poor a player either. Part of me wants him to start against Bolton. He's a nuisance for a good 50-60 minutes and Saha could be better for us off the bench. We have had some cracking results with him ploughing the lone furrow. 3 wins against City (2 of them last year) spring to mind.

Atm I'd start anyone up front over Saha. But ye Anichebe would be a good call but I'm not sure he'll be fit enough to start. The problem is that leaves us with Vel and other youngsters who Moyes will assume can't hack it and play Saha again. Unless he plays Straq of course, who has maybe merited a chance.

I think that he did ok today. Once again, like i said in the Straq thread, anyone is better than Saha and Cahill at the moment. I think that Vic can do a job, he can work the wings and then make a 2 up top if needed. I think that Vic is an ok target man, he is strong and tries hard. If given a chance, he could make a difference.

Just like a few others have said, it's knee jerk reaction saying he's awesome etc. If you're not allowed to make knee jerk comments about Moyes etc and the negative stuff, then it's fair dues it's repeated in this situation. Vic is still badly ****e, and not the answer. Well in for scoring, but you need another dozen to change my opinion.

Moysie quoted after the game as saying he's a really important player for us and we've missed him. That'll mean he'll be playing ahead of Vellios, Gueye and Barkley at every opportunity then.

For the one of the biggest lads I've seen he's got one of the most camp voices I've heard.

Ha he actually seems like quite a decent lad tbh. Always thought he was a bellend. Saw him out once and he was just with a real gimpy looking mate just standing there with a drink not doing a lot. He really is massive though.

To be honest, that was the first thing I thought when he opened his mouth.

I'm reserving judgment. One scrappy goal does not equal excellence.
