anichebe doesnt have the technical ability to play right wing.

his crossing is nothing more than 'hit it and hope' so he isnt going to provide much amunition for his teammates.
granted when he has played wide he has been very direct ,coming into the center running at and taking on players . but he doesnt skillfully dribble the ball round players, he is more of a bulldozer straight through them.

he is a cf who should be played in a strike partnership.

(there is only 2 players in the squad i would play at rm , thats pienaar and arteta. coleman is a rb , rodwell is a cdm , osman is a cm, anichebe is a cf. when moyes plays them out of these positions i think it lessens the players best assets and lessens the overall team)

I think the moral of the story is quite simple: we need the fod.

I can agree with it and yet I think he would be perfect at RM as a foil for attacking full back like Coleman. I don't think Vic is and ever will be tough enough mentally to bang against big CBs for 90 minutes, I believe wide midfield, when there is a bigger diversity in what player can do, suits him much better, despite some technical abilities he's lacking. He has a very good combination of pace and power, which can be useful as a direct wide player in right environment.

Bingo. He can hold the ball up well, and he can cut in, so he'd have the option to either feed in Coleman, or cut inside and shoot. That gives the defenders more to think about.

I'd like to see Coleman pushed back to right back, and Vic on the wing ahead of him, Coleman seems to do better when he gets a chance to run at people from deep. It would also gives us an alternative to Bainaar, which is going to be extremely important if we sell Pienaar in January, even if not we still need a replacement come summer, short of us having a miracle revival and winning everything we can. :P

That worked really well in preseason, hope to see it again.

If Vic was winded after a half hour, then he would make a great sub even now. I do hope to see him return at the right side. Could be, as the Cars put it, just what I needed.
