What is surprising me the most is how restrained the French police have been up to now during all this tensions. Firing tear gas? Water cannons?

Believe me, that's almost placid. Some time soon though they'll react in their usual manner and our and other fans will get a real hiding.

Personally, I'd have no qualms with seeing the Gendarmerie reimpose order as it's becoming a farce and putting a huge shadow over the Euros.
