Pictures seem to show Croatian fans in full kit fighting people not in kit. Wondering if another countries fans have got into the Croatia end.

It was usual Croatia fans vs Dinamo Zagreb fans who threw the flares

I watched a few clips last night showing the trouble in Marseille. What I couldn't believe is England fans watching lads getting dragged to the floor and kicked then running off and leaving them, looked pretty even numbers too.

Numbers might have been even , bug the mindset of both fans totally different. Russian thugs intent on inflicting savage beatings to anyone in their path v your average non violent football fan, some with kids.

No mate, the average footy fan with kids wasn't fronting the Russians. These lads wanted trouble but didn't like it when they got it. If You put yourself in that position you don't leave your mate to take a beating and run off.

A few years ago on holiday in Croatia I was chatting things football with some local lads there and they said that Zagreb is the real nationalist / borderline fascist centre of Croatia, and the hardliners from Zagreb don't even view their countrymen in other parts of the country as being real Croats!

I would imagine the fighting in the Croatian end came from the attempts of the moderates to stop the nutters from being total knobs.
